My Morning with God-Psalms 37:23

The steps of a good man are ordered are ordered by the Lord, and he delights in his way.

Taking time to order our day should not be in additional burden, one more thing to do on all our list of duties and responsibilities. Actually, it should ease our load. It frees our mind and brings peace in creativity.

In this verse, we are reminded of a profound truth about our relationship with God. The Lord takes an active role in guiding the steps of those who seek to follow Him. Each step we take, each decision we make, is not random or without purpose when we commit our ways to Him.

Reflection

Think about the journey of your life. There have been times of joy, sorrow, triumph, and challenge. Through all these moments, God has been there, delighting in your way as you seek to walk in His path. This verse reassures us that we are not alone. God is not a distant observer; He is intimately involved in the details of our lives, guiding and directing us when we allow him to. Remember God is a gentleman not a taskmaster relentously driveing our lives. He is a Loving Father her to gude.

Application

1. Trust in His Guidance: Even when the path ahead seems unclear or difficult, trust that God is ordering your steps. Spend time in prayer, asking Him to reveal His will and to help you follow it faithfully.

2. Seek His Delight: Live in a way that brings joy to God. Follow His commandments, love others, and strive to reflect His character in all you do.

3. Reflect on Your Journey: Take a moment to look back at how God has directed your steps thus far. Recognize His hand in your life’s journey and give thanks for His faithfulness.

Prayer

Father I anticipate the Good things you have prepared for me today.Bring complete order to my day as I seek you firstand make hearing you a priority.I mindfully make yourwillin my life the priority. Thank you for teaching me ways to increase my effectiveness. To work smarter not harder.I will follow your agenda.

Lord, thank You for ordering my steps and delighting in my way. Help me to trust in Your guidance and to seek Your will in all that I do. May my life be a reflection of Your love and faithfulness. Amen.
