My Morning with God- Genesis 1:26

Mankind was Created to Create!!

Genesis 1:26 (KJV): “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…”

1. “Let Us”—The Divine Collaboration

Before there was ever a world, before there were oceans or mountains, before there was light—there was God. But even in the beginning, God was not alone. When Scripture says, “Let us,” it reveals the holy fellowship of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Three in perfect unity. Three in perfect agreement. Three operating as One.

This moment wasn’t just about creation—it was a window into the eternal relationship of the Trinity of God:

The Father envisioned

The Son manifested

The Holy Spirit moved, empowered, and brought it to life

Creation wasn’t a solo act. It was a divine partnership.

And this reminds us of something powerful: God Himself models collaboration, unity, and agreement. If God—the all-sufficient One—moves in unity, then how much more should we value agreement, alignment, and partnership in our own lives?

Every breakthrough you’re believing for…

Every assignment you’re stepping into…

Every purpose you’re walking out…

It aligns best when you step into agreement with Heaven—Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. Made in His Image Means Made to Create

When God said, “Let us make man in our image,” He wasn’t simply referring to physical traits such as the color of our eyes or the color of our skin or what a hair looks like. He was speaking about identity, authority, and creative capacity.

God is The Creator.

God is The Builder.

God is The Vision Giver.

So when He formed us in His image, He gave us the ability to:

• Imagine

• Build

• Innovate

• Speak life

• Birth ideas

• Form new paths

• Create solutions

• Bring something out of nothing

This means our ideas are not random—

Our desires to build businesses, ministries, houses of care, books, programs, and opportunities…

Our visions to shift your financial future…

Our dreams to break cycles and create new realities… you see as I continue to use the word our I am teaching myself as well as you. I want to write this in our minds, our hearts, and in our spirits.

👉 These are God-placed abilities.

We inherited this from your Father.

There is a reason our spirit won’t settle for small.

There is a reason we are always drawn to impact, growth, structure, and vision.

There is a reason we see possibilities where others only see problems.

It’s because we are a creators—by design.

3. When God Creates, He Speaks

Notice something about Genesis 1:

God didn’t build the world with His hands—

He built it with His words. when you read the scripture, you see that he gave a command, and it became established.

And because we made in His likeness, our a words carry power too.

What you decree, you will eventually see.

What you speak consistently, you will live out.

What you declare in faith becomes the blueprint for your future.

So today, speak like the Creator you were made to be. let’s speak life every day.

4. Reflection Questions

• Where in my life have I forgotten that I carry God’s creative DNA?

• What idea, vision, or business have I been sitting on that God is waiting on me to speak into existence?

• Am I walking in unity with the Holy Spirit—or trying to create alone?

Let’s Pray 🙏🏾

Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for creating me in Your image. Thank You for the divine partnership of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit that models unity, creativity, and purpose. Stir up every creative gift inside me. Remind me that I am called to build, to speak, and to bring forth what You’ve placed in my spirit. Anoint my ideas, bless my hands, and guide my steps as I create according to Your will. I ask that you create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me In Jesus’ name, Amen.
