My Morning with God- 1st Sam. 2:2 (KJV)

"There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none besides thee; neither is there any rock like our God."

In this verse, Hannah's prayer captures the essence of God's unparalleled holiness and strength. Her words remind us that amidst life's uncertainties, God remains our steadfast foundation. When we consider the holiness of God, we are invited to reflect on His perfect nature—He is pure, just, and wholly set apart from anything else in existence. This holiness signifies that God's ways and thoughts are far above ours, offering us a perspective that transcends human limitations.

Hannah's declaration, "there is no rock like our God," highlights God's unwavering reliability. A rock signifies stability and safety; it is something firm to hold onto during life's storms. When we anchor our faith in God, we find a foundation that cannot be shaken, a source of strength that empowers us to face our challenges with confidence and grace.Today, let us draw comfort and strength from God's holiness and steadfastness. In moments of doubt or fear, remember that God is your rock, an unchanging source of hope and stability. Trust in His holy nature, knowing that He is uniquely capable of guiding and sustaining you through every circumstance.

Dear heavenly Lord and Savior , thank You for being my holy and steadfast rock. Help me to trust in Your strength and to find peace in Your unchanging nature. Remind me that there is none like You and guide me to live in a way that reflects Your holiness. Please help me to remember to run to you daily through your Word so I can fill my cup as I pour from it throughout the day. My ability to effective touch the world depends on my being filled with your Spirit consistently. I humbly give my ways and plans over to you and apply your Word to my life and that of my family. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right Spirit in me Oh Lord Amen.
